We're a small crew of wakesurf riders who got tired of trying to remember why last Tuesday's board felt so much looser than the one before it. CurvySwervy started as a scribbled notebook of fin positions and "felt good" notes, and grew into something built for anyone who tunes gear the way a musician tunes an instrument.
Our mission is simple: turn guesswork into a record you can actually trust. Every board has a personality, and every fin swap changes it a little. We wanted a way to capture that instead of losing it to memory the second you're back on the dock.

Every board has a story. CurvySwervy remembers it so you don't have to.
CurvySwervy was built on one core principle: your gear data belongs to you, and only you. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means.
We collect nothing. CurvySwervy has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no login of any kind. We never ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal identifier. There is no analytics tracking built into the app. Every board profile, fin setup, traction note, and ride entry you create stays exactly where you put it: on your device.
Because we don't collect any information, we have none to use, analyze, or sell. There is no back-end system processing your entries, no aggregate usage patterns being studied, and no profile being built about you or your riding habits. Every feature — from fin position tracking to ride notes — runs entirely on-device.
All data you enter into CurvySwervy — board details, fin configurations, condition notes, and ride feelings — is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no server your information is ever sent to. If your device is offline, the app works exactly the same, because it was never talking to us in the first place.
CurvySwervy does not integrate any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or external APIs that could access your information. Nothing in the app phones home.
Since your information never leaves your device, the greatest safeguard is simply that it's never exposed to outside servers, transmissions, or data breaches on our end. We design the app to operate safely within the boundaries of your device's own security.
CurvySwervy does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, including children under 13. Because no data collection occurs at all, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
You are always in complete control of your data. Everything you've logged — boards, fins, notes, ride history — can be reviewed, edited, or removed at any time within the app. Deleting the app deletes your data along with it, as we keep no backups, servers, or account records anywhere.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or to improve clarity. Any updates will include a new effective date at the top of this page.
